Although the vast majority of people with Crohn’s disease will never develop colorectal cancer, it is highly treatable when diagnosed early. You can reduce your risk of developing colorectal cancer by seeing a gastroenterologist at least once per year, eating a balanced diet, having regular exercise, and taking your medications for the disease.
